If you miss your Mounjaro dose, what you should do depends on how long it has been since your dose was due.
If you remember within 4 days (96 hours)
Take your missed dose as soon as you remember.
Our advice is that the day you take this late dose should then become your new regular weekly injection day.
Example: If you normally inject on a Monday but forget and remember on Thursday, take your Mounjaro dose on Thursday. From then on, Thursday becomes your new regular injection day.
If more than 4 days (96 hours) have passed
Skip the missed dose and take your next dose on your usual scheduled day.
Example: If your usual injection day is Monday and you do not remember until Saturday, skip the missed Monday dose and take your next dose on Monday as usual.
Important: Do not take doses too close together
Always make sure there are at least 3 days (72 hours) between Mounjaro doses.
Do not take two doses less than 3 days (72 hours) apart, and never take an extra dose to make up for a missed dose.
