If you are continuing your treatment with Simple Online Pharmacy but have had a gap since your last dose, the dose you can restart on may depend on how long your treatment has been interrupted.
Less than 3 weeks since your last dose
If less than 3 weeks have passed since your last administered dose, you may be able to continue with your previous dose or move to the next dose in your treatment schedule, if appropriate.
For example, if you were previously taking Mounjaro® 5mg and have had a break of less than 3 weeks, you may be able to:
- Continue with 5mg – if this remains the appropriate dose for your treatment.
- Move to 7.5mg – if you have tolerated 5mg and a dose increase is appropriate.
The dose prescribed will depend on your treatment history, tolerance and any side effects you have experienced.
More than 3 weeks since your last dose
If more than 3 weeks have passed since your last Mounjaro® dose, you may need to restart treatment at a lower dose.
Please contact our clinical team or complete the appropriate assessment so that we can determine the safest dose for you to restart treatment.
Do not restart at your previous dose or increase your dose without appropriate clinical guidance after a significant break in treatment.
