For a safe prescribing decision to be made for the weight care medication ordered, our clinical team may request an image to verify your BMI by comparing your selfie with the weight values provided in your assessment form.
If you have placed an order for a weight care treatment and need to verify your BMI for prescriber review, there are two scenarios which require for you to provide a selfie.

"Take photo later" selected during assessment form:
If you selected the option to “Take photo later” for question 29 in the assessment form, a required selfie for your order is still outstanding for your order to be reviewed by our prescribers. -
"Take photo later" not selected during assessment form:
If you received an email requesting BMI verification and you have not selected the “Take photo later” option in the assessment form, then our prescribers have requested additional images to the ones already provided. Please be assured that this is only for safeguarding purposes for the requested medication.
For both of the above scenarios, you will need to upload a real time image to your order. To complete this, you can use the following link to access your account on our webpage. This will take you to our website where you will go to the members section and then to your members dashboard. You will then find your orders which are on hold, and you can access your order to upload your image using the implemented system on our page.

Take note the following when taking this image as it will ensure our prescribers can visually asses your weight, in conjunction with your medical history, to make a safe prescribing decision as soon as possible.
Use the following guidelines for the best image to verify your BMI:
- Stand in front of the camera to capture a face-on, standing image of your full body - ideally from the top of your head down to your feet.
- Adopt a relaxed pose with head and body facing forward, arms at your side and feet shoulder-width apart - we can accept head to hip photos but no face-only selfies please!
- Stand in front of a clear background, in full light and in focus, without any glare or obstructions.
- Wear a single layer of form-fitting clothing so we can accurately see your body shape.
- Relax – the 10 second timer lets you get into position, and you can retake your photo to get it right!
It is important to note that we will not be able to process your order until you have provided a confirmation of your BMI, and your order will remain on hold until the requested information has been provided for our prescribers to review.
