If you are wanting to change the medication strength of a processing order, such as circumstances when the incorrect dose is ordered, we are only able to do so if the order has not been approved by our prescribers. If your order has already been approved, we are unable to accommodate a dose change.
To request a dose change for a processing order, the best way would be to contact our Patient Care Team by calling us on 0141 744 5352. If you inform us of the updated strength, as well as the reason for requesting a dose amendment, we will do our best to action this request as soon as possible.
It is important to note that a dose change may impact the time taken for our clinical team to make a prescribing decision regarding the medication ordered, although we aim to process these requests as soon as possible.
