Side effects with Wegovy® 7.2mg are similar to those seen with other Wegovy® doses.
Very common side effects may include headache, feeling sick, being sick, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain and feeling weak or tired.
Common side effects may include dizziness, indigestion, burping, bloating, reflux or heartburn, gallstones, injection-site reactions, changes in taste and low blood sugar in patients with diabetes.
Hair loss and changes in skin sensation may occur more frequently with Wegovy® 7.2mg.

When to seek urgent medical help
Seek urgent medical help if you experience severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, signs of dehydration, fainting, symptoms of an allergic reaction, or feel seriously unwell.
Changes to your eyesight
Very rarely, semaglutide has been linked to an eye condition that can cause sudden sight loss.
If you notice any sudden change to your eyesight, stop taking Wegovy® 7.2mg and go straight to an eye casualty department or A&E.
