If you're using the Wegovy 7.2 mg treatment, your medication is supplied as a pack of four individual, single-use pens.

Each pen contains one complete dose, meaning:

• 1 pen = 1 dose
• Each pen can only be used once.
• The needle is built into the pen and cannot be removed or replaced.

How does the Wegovy 7.2 mg pen work?

Unlike previous multi-dose Wegovy pens, the 7.2 mg pen is a single-use, pre-filled pen.

Once you press the pen firmly against your skin and the injection starts:

• The medication is delivered in one continuous injection.
• The injection cannot be paused or restarted.
• The pen does not click between doses.
• The needle cannot be removed or changed.

What does the yellow bar mean?

The medication window contains a yellow bar.

When the yellow bar has completely filled the window, this means:

• Your dose has been administered.
• The pen has finished delivering the medication.
• The pen cannot be used again.

My pen doesn't seem to be working

If you believe your Wegovy 7.2 mg pen has not worked correctly:

• Please do not attempt to remove or replace the needle.
• Do not try to prime the pen.
• Do not attempt to restart or interrupt the injection.
• Do not attempt to repair or dismantle the pen.

The 7.2 mg pen is designed as a single-use device and cannot be reset once activated.

Can you replace my pen?

Unfortunately, no.

The Wegovy 7.2 mg treatment is supplied as one pack containing four individual pens.

Because of this, we are unable to replace individual pens reported as faulty.
