If an order is not approved, a refund is processed automatically. Refunds can take 5-10 business days to appear on your bank statement, although are usually completed within a few days. This is the standard time a bank takes to process refunds.
In some circumstances, your refund may be processed as a 'reversal'. This means the funds will have originally been set aside as a 'pending transaction' but never fully taken before the refund was actioned. In these cases, you will not see the money leave the account, therefore no refund will appear on your statement.
