For some medications, it is mandatory we inform your GP of what we have prescribed. This applies to medicines in the following categories:
- Weight loss injections
- Oral weight loss medications (eg. Orlistat, Xenical)
- Asthma
- Anaphylaxis
For all other categories, we ask in the assessment form if you would like us to inform your GP what has been prescribed. For these remaining categories, this is optional and based on your choice.
In all circumstances, we recommend keeping your doctor informed of the medication you are taking.
