Wegovy FlexTouch pens may now arrive in more slimline packaging without ice packs or cold-chain packaging.
This change follows updated manufacturer guidance from Novo Nordisk and approval from the MHRA. Wegovy FlexTouch pens can now be safely transported below 30°C for up to 48 hours during the final delivery stage.
This is a clinically sound and approved change to the delivery process only.
It does not change the medication, safety, quality, effectiveness, dose, or how you use your pen.
The new packaging should make delivery easier and should allow your parcel to fit through a letterbox where possible.
You should still check your tracking information and collect your parcel as soon as possible once delivered.
If your pen is unopened and you are not using it straight away, place it in the fridge once received.
